Another cool use of SoundCloud
Ran across this on the MOTUNATION forum. Apparently Imogen Heap recorded some vocals for a track that was never finished. Rather than tossing them into the bin for later, she’s donated them to Twestival and made them available for download via her SoundCloud page. She encourages “musical reinterpretation” of the tracks. After you are done, you can upload them to her dropbox. (There’s a couple of hundred tracks there already.)
Whatever you may think (or not think) of Imogen Heap, it’s a generous gesture to the community and gives folks a chance to work with some professionally recorded vocals.
